Game development isn’t just about code and mechanics—it’s about creating a vivid and immersive world. Right now, I’m focusing on designing the characters for our Titanic project, and it’s one of the most exciting stages!
We chose voxel graphics because they perfectly match our game’s atmosphere. Voxels are like digital building blocks that create a stylish and memorable visual world. In these screenshots, you can see an early version of one of the characters. It still looks basic, but soon, it will be refined, textured, and fully integrated into the game!
I’m using MagicaVoxel for modeling—it’s a powerful tool that allows for quick and efficient creation of complex 3D objects. After this, the model will go through further refinement: adding textures, lighting adjustments, and animation. It’s a long but fascinating process, where every little detail brings us closer to the final vision.
Stay tuned for more updates not only here but also on my Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook, where I share even more insights into the development process! 🚢🎮
